so, it came to my attention yesterday, that i should probably update my journal at some point and time, and tell you all whats going on with my hands

Yep, we still think i might have carpal tunnel, so i went to this new orthopedic surgeon or whatever for a second opinion, and i had no idea what to expect.

so i go in, they do X-rays on my hand, and so forth.

Then i he goes on about the most sure way to know is if i give you this shot and it helps with the pain, yada yada,

so he tells me he'll use his smallest needle and it wont hurt, just sting a bit.

shoot, he comes in with a frikin huge needle on the damn syringe they gave me.

What he wanted to do was give me a shot of Novocaine and cortisone and something else, and if it ended up helping with the pain, that means we definitely know i have carpal tunnel and where i need surgery.

That, i think was the worst shot ive ever gotten, they actually injected it into my nerves >.<

so its been 3 days now, and i haven't really done much because my hand hurts so much. cant go into work because im lifting boxes all frikin day, and i cant even steadily hold anything with my right hand.

so i have found out i can draw like a beast with my left hand, and write.


yay ambidexterity!

so, apparently once the discomfort in my hand is gone (which may take up to a week), then i should be able to tell if the shot is helping or not....

my hand wants to cry
